  • Open access publishing in Oxford University Press (OUP) journals
    Since January 2023, a new offer allows members of the University of Innsbruck and the Medical University of Innsbruck to publish open access free of charge with Oxford University Press (OUP). Members of both universities can publish open access in 475 hybrid and gold open access journals of OUP free of charge.
  • Open access publishing in Cell Press journals
    Since January 2022, a new offer allows members of the University of Innsbruck and the Medical University of Innsbruck to publish open access free of charge in the hybrid open access journals of Cell Press. Members of both universities can publish open access in journals free of charge.
  • Open access publishing in 8 AIP journals
    Since January 2022, a new offer allows members of the University of Innsbruck to publish open access in selected American Institute of Physics (AIP) journals free of charge. Members of the University of Innsbruck can publish open access in 8 hybrid journals of AIP free of charge and have access to the publisher's licensed content.
  • Open access publishing in Brill journals
    Since January 2022, a new offer allows members of the University of Innsbruck to publish open access in Brill journals free of charge. Members of the University of Innsbruck can publish open access in Brill's gold and hybrid journals free of charge and have access to the publisher's licensed content.
  • Open access publishing in IEEE journals
    From 30 November 2021 until 31 December 2024, a new offer allows members of the University of Innsbruck to publish open access in IEEE journal content free of charge. Members of the University of Innsbruck can publish open access in 158 hybrid journals and in more than 20 IEEE gold open access journals for free and also have access to the entire portfolio of the publisher.

  • Training: Open Access Publishing – Services, Financing, Consultations
    Open Access - unrestricted and free access to scientific literature - is a recent and forward-looking topic. What services, financing options and supporting offers are available at the university? How can the legal framework conditions be handled? Which aspects of Open Access publishing require special attention? These and similar questions are dealt with in the course. We offer to visit your department for consultation and information events also in English.
